Junior /Senior Christmas Play

Junior/Senior Infants took down the house with their performance of "The Twinkly Nativity". They worked very hard learning lines and singing songs over the last couple of weeks and deserve every praise!

5th and 6th class present Cinderella Rockerfella

Christmas has truly arrived in 6thclass, with excitement and festive spirit filling the room. This year, pupils have been busy preparing a lively Christmas play, Cinderella Rockerfella, bringing a modern twist, music, and plenty of laughs to the stage. Cinderella Rockerfella is a panto style, musical comedy, offering a playful twist on the modern storyof Cinderella. Prince Charming within the story is a pop star named Rockerfella, in search of his very own Cinderella.

Our main characters ‘Cinderella’- Lara Mohan ,‘Rockerfella’- Wiktoria Szulc and the two ‘ugly sisters’- Mya Connolly and Felicity Flynn did a fantastic job, along with their classmates presenting the tale of Cinderella. Everyone was incredible and we are so proud of each and everyone of you.

Everyone put on a great show and it was very memorable for all involved. Thanks to all parents and anyone who donated props or costumes for our play. Have a look and see a snippet of a very wonderful night had by all!

3rd Class Christmas

3rd Class have enjoyed a busy but enjoyable two months. They completed their final few sessions of their 6 week block of swimming lessons in Cavan Leisure Centre.

We learned how to look up words in the dictionary, discovered all about electricity in science, researched Christmas traditions in countries around the world and did lots of art activities including, chalk snowglobes, painting Christmas trees and creating Christmas jumpers.

We spent lots of time learning our lines, songs and actions for our Christmas play 'Santa's on Strike' with 4th Class. We thoroughly enjoyed our performance and are very proud of how well we acted, sang and danced.

We had a lovely final week in school with Santa visiting our class, playing interactive quizzes on Kahoot, baking rice krispie reindeer buns with hot chocolate and completing lots of Christmas art.
